Preparation before UPTU Counselling

The preparation before UPTU Counselling is very important. Students are advised to check all the required documents at UPTU Counselling for admission in B.Tech/B.Pharm/B.Arch/B.HMCT/B.FAD/MBA/MCA. Here is the few points,that must be noted before going to uptu counselling.
  • Check your documents of High School/Intermediate/Diploma/Graduation Certificates and Mark Sheets, Original and Photo Copies.
  • Character Certificate,Medical Certificate and Category Certificate(if required). Note: There is no need to submit medical certificate this year. Candidate have to submit undertaking instead of medical certificate.
  • Demand drafts of Rs 5000 and Rs 500 in favour of "Finance Officer, Gautam Budh Technical University, Lucknow"
  • Original and Photocopy of Admit card and Rank Card (Counselling letter).
Prepare the list of uptu colleges and respective college codes and branches of your choice for on line submission of colleges in on campus on line uptu counselling.

Note: There are some colleges of same name Eg. Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sitapur Road, Lucknow and Institute of Engineering and Technology, Sitapur.

Reach the Counselling centers as soon as possible, with your parents of some one who can help you in counselling and during document submission queue.

Generally students forget some documents or the photocopies of their documents.For any other on spot requirements. There will be a need of someone who can help you finding all these stuffs and for an eye on the remaining seats in the colleges flashed on the screen.

Check the number of seats available/left in the uptu colleges on the screen generally provided by counselling centers. Don't make sudden changes in your choices, always consult others for changes in your choice, your own friends, brother/sister or parents are the best persons to consult.

Don't panic during online submission of college choices and make sure you have submit the college of your choice and branches/streams in right order ( order of submission is very important ). First submit the best college you want and so on... . and check the college code.

    Yes,Category certificate is required, if you claim for any of quota.

    i have done gradution BA private now college is saying that we will not provide TC and charater certificate to private students. so what should i do? plz reply as soon as possible

    Both colleges are very good JSS and Galgotias and have good placement records, it depends on what you want, CS or IT. If you are sure about Cs then take CS in Galgotias, and in case of JSS, which have old reputation.

    Generally medical certificate made at CMO office for the statement that the candidate has no disease and if has then it is mentioned in the certificate.

    @Vratika: you have to go to counselling center allotted to you.
    @sahitya: you must go to the counselling center,with your original domicile, if you have no proof of your filled domicile.

    1. nothing to panic u must submit ab undertaking certificate for medical

    2, UPGD and UPGE doesn,t matter at all bcz they heve no reserved quota at all

    3. also can any body tell the best college at rank 39191 UPGD category

    from where the medical certificate is to be made. i did not understand the term chief medical officer and medical officer of a participating state funded state funded engg. institute.
    also tell me all the documents that are required at the time of counselling.
