UPSEE 2015 Counselling Schedule

The entrance examination for degree level engineering institutions and other professional colleges has been assigned to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow by Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. Further, the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, Technical Education Department, has consented for the constitution of Central Admission Board (CAB) under the Chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor, Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow to supervise and control the State Entrance Examination herein after referred as UPSEE-2015 being conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. The CAB has absolute rights for conducting UPSEE-2015, and to decide about modalities of admissions and allotment of seats. The jurisdiction of CAB extends to colleges / institutes affiliated to UPTU, Lucknow. The CAB is authorised to take every decision regarding conduct and admissions through UPSEE-2015.

UPTU UPSEE 2015 Counselling Steps & Process

Uttar Pradesh Technical University ( UPTU) has declared the date for document verification for the successful candidates in  Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) 2015. The UPSEE counselling dates for this years are expected soon by UPTU. Before that successful students who wants to appear in counselling must follow the steps or procedure before counselling and get their required documents verified such as counselling letter, admit card and pay their counselling fee. The details of UPSEE counselling procedure are given below in steps for admissions in different technical colleges affiliated to UPTU.


The steps of UPSEE counselling are given below :

1. The candidates can download their counselling letters from the official website by entering their course, roll number and date of birth.

2. They are required to pay a counselling fee of Rs 500. The payment can be through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the 'Finance Officer, UPTU, Lucknow. The DD should be payable at the respective document verification centres of the candidates.

3. The candidates have to submit the following documents for verification- UPSEE 2015 admit card UPSEE 2015 counselling letter UPSEE 2015 online registration slip (only for JEE Main candidates) Mark sheet for Class 12 examination Passing Certificate for Class 12 Character certificate Medical Fitness certificate Documents for reserved category, as applicable

4. The candidates are allowed to fill as many choices as they want to, in order of their preference.

5. They will be allotted seats on the basis of their ranks in the exam.

6. 20 percent of the seats in private institutions are reserved for the candidates who appeared for JEE Main 2015.

7. Once the seats have been allotted, candidates must complete the formalities regarding document verification and payment of fee in order to complete their admission process.

UPTU UPSEE 2015 Documents Verification Starts From June 15

UPTU UPSEE 2015 documents verification will starts from June 15 2015. The UPTU has scheduled document verification from June 15 2015 onwards, followed by upsee counselling for admission to different colleges affiliated to UPTU.

As UPSEE 2015 results has been declared and students are waiting for the next step for admission, that is document verification phase. UPTU also declared documents verification centers at different cities.

UPSEE Counselling 2015 Expected to Start in June

Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) has started preprations for Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Exam (UPSEE) 2015 counselling by setting up  a committee to counsel qualified students in UPSEE 2015. The counselling schedule will be available soon. UPSEE Counselling centres will be set up in each district.
Through UPSEE counselling students will get admissions to different undergraduate and post-graduate courses in colleges affiliated to UPTU.

First and necessary step for qualified students to get admission is to verify their documents. Students will have to appear for the counselling sessions immediately after verification and register online for the course of their choice and then confirm seats by depositing the fee..
According to university officials said they will send students a unique One Time Password (OTP) on students mobile phones after they have had their documents verified, which they will be asked to show before their counseling session.

UPSEE 2013 Counselling Steps

UPTU UPSEE 2013 Counselling details: Document Verification and Choice Locking/ Seat Allotment of all qualified candidates, declared successful in the UP State Entrance Examination-2013, for admission to various courses (B.Tech /B.Tech (Ag.Engg) /B.Tech(Bio.Tech.) /B.Pharm. /B.Arch /B.HMCT /B.FAD /MAM/MCA/MBA, direct admission to second year of B.Tech /B.Pharm (Diploma stream/ B.Sc. stream) and admissions under JEE Main quota for first year B.Tech and under CMAT quota for first year MBA, will be done as per the given schedule. The procedure is described in the following section.

The counseling for this year comprises of following steps:

(a) Candidate desirous of seeking admission under JEE Quota/ CMAT quota must register online at website www.upsee.nic.in.

(b) Qualified candidate with UPSEE rank and those already registered on line under JEE (Main) quota and CMAT quota seat will report at designated document verification centers during specified time. A list of verification centers along with address and contact details are available on website www.upsee.nic.in .

(c) All candidates must bring original certificates along with a set of attested photocopy of these documents. All such candidates need to submit a bank draft for Rs. 500=00 as non-refundable counseling fee. The candidates are also required to provide their mobile phone number or on mobile phone number of their parents / guardian.

(d) During the verification, if some documents e.g., Rural Weightage Certificate/OBC Certificate/Armed Force Certificate/FF certificate, are not proper/correct, the candidate can produce the corrected/fresh certificate on the next day but before the last date of document verification.

(e) All candidates whose documents have been verified will get a one time password (OTP) on their registered mobile phones. If in any case, the candidate does not receive his OTP on his mobile phones within six hours, he/she may visit website www.upsee.nic.in for the instructions.

(f) The candidates whose document verification has been done, need not stay at verification centre. They may proceed to their home for choice submission. The choice submission can be done by the candidate online at website www.upsee.nic.in at a place of his/her convenience, using OTP issued to him.

(g) All choices must be filled during the specified time period. During this period a candidate is allowed to alter/modify or add new choices before locking them. The candidates must lock their choices after entering all the choices.

(h) All locked choices and their order of preference shall be used for seat allotment. The result of first round of seat allotment will be declared on a specified date.

(i) All candidates given a seat in the first round of allotment must proceed to their respective verification centre for confirmation of their seats. All such candidates are required to deposit a fee of Rs. 10000=00 in the form of bank draft. Confirmation of seat is very important step of admissions.

(j) Remember, there will be upgradation round after the first round of allotment of seats. But upgradation of seats would be done for only those who have confirmed their seats. Upgradation of seats become necessary when the higher rank holders leave their seats resulting in vacancies.

(k) During confirmation of seats, each candidate shall have option to participate in up-gradation round of counseling. It is advised that candidates should not forget to and opt for upgradation, if they so desire.

(l) Candidates who opt for up-gradation round of counseling, their already entered choices shall be processed again for up-gradation. The result of up-gradation round will be declared on a specified date in the schedule.

(m) If a candidate is successful in getting a better choice in the upgradation round, his/her earlier allotment shall deem to be cancelled. If a candidate is unsuccessful in up-gradation round, earlier allotted seat will be retained by him. This way, there is a chance for everyone to get the up-gradation of their allotted seats, even after they have confirmed their seats in the first round. Thus, number of choices should be large enough especially for those with lower ranks.

UPSEE Counselling 2013 Counselling Procedure

 Admissions to various courses in Government aided, affiliated as well as constituent Institutes and private affiliated Institutes of GBTU Lucknow, MTU Noida and other state Universities of U.P. are done through counseling for those who have qualified UPSEE-2013 examinations. Besides, the rank holders of UPSEE-2013, admissions through counseling are also done for 20 % quota seats in the private affiliated Institutes of GBTU Lucknow and MTU Noida for rank holders of JEE (Main) for B.Tech and C-MAT for MBA.

Counseling: Counseling at Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow is a process that facilitates students, keen to pursue higher studies in various technical courses, in their endeavors to join institutes of quality education as per their merit. All necessary information and data for the students to know would be provided during counseling. Assistance and guidance would be readily available at the centers designated by GBTU for this purpose.

Counseling Procedure in three steps: The procedure has been simplified, for this year's counseling, keeping in view the requirements of the students in mind. Aim is to make the whole process easy, by taking advantage of the state-of-the-art of technology. The candidate will not have to run around for different formalities of admission. Further, unlike yesteryears, number of centers for verification/counseling has been raised to 129 spread across the state. The objective is to ensure that the designated centre is not crowded as well as the student does not have to go faroff for the purpose. There are centers almost in each part of the state. The counseling procedure is to be completed in three major steps.

Step I: Registration (On-line) only for JEE(Main) and C-MAT candidates: A 20% of the total seats in private Institutes affiliated to GBTU Lucknow and MTU Noida are reserved for admissions to B.Tech Ist year course under JEE (Main) quota and of the MBA course for C-MAT quota. Candidates seeking admissions on the basis of JEE (Main) or C-MAT have to first register themselves online. Therefore, to participate in the counseling process, the candidates (JEE(Main)/C-MAT Quota) must register themselves at website: www.upsee.nic.in and get the registration slip printed. The registered candidates should report for verification at the designated verification centers during the specified period.

Step II: Verification of documents at the designated verification centers: Rank holders of UPSEE-2013 and all the registered (JEE (Main) and CMAT) who have registered online, must present themselves for verification at the verification centre/counseling centre along with the relevant documents in original and their photocopies (one set) as given in the Information Brochure of UPSEE-2013. The originals would be needed to verify the credentials of the candidates. A set of photocopy (duly attested) of each of the documents must be submitted to the verification center. At the verification center, on completion verification, candidates must ensure that they receive an OTP (One Time Password) on their mobile phones. The OTP numbers is necessary for the next step of counseling.

 Step III: Choice filling Choice filling means that the candidate gives options for the courses as well as for the institutes in order of their preference from one to a large number. Since, the allotment of seats would be done based on the ranks of the candidates, those having higher ranks will be considered first for the allotment of seats as per their choices. It means that the candidates with relatively lower ranks should give a sufficiently large number of choices for getting a seat The candidates must remember that the institutes affiliated with GBTU and MTU are all having infrastructural as well as teaching capabilities of the desired standards as per AICTE guidelines, as well as, as per the norms of the Universities. Moreover, the management of all these institutes have been regularly enhancing their capabilities to bring an improvement in quality of education. Thus, making an impression, good or bad, about any institute would not be a correct thing to do. The available information (on their website) about each of these institutes must be studied by the candidates.

 Further, the results of all the colleges for the last year 2012-13 can be used as a reference for decision making. A VIBGYOR chart of ranking used by the University may also be useful for this purpose. A summary of last year seat allotment is also available on the website www.upsee.nic.in. Candidates must go through all these information and data and take the decisions about the choices of the courses and institutes.
